Is Qliance insurance?
No. We work directly for our patients to provide direct primary care. Your monthly care fee only pays for the primary and preventive care services described in our Patient Services Guide.Does Qliance work with my company’s current insurance?
Yes. Qliance can work with any type of traditional insurance plan and pairs especially well with high deductible plans. Most employers that incorporate Qliance into their benefits plans save 10% or more, with some employers saving over 40%.Is there a Qliance clinic located near me?
Qliance currently has three clinic locations, Downtown Seattle, Kent Station and Mercer Island. Qliance is expanding rapidly throughout the Pacific Northwest and nationwide; we encourage you to check our website for locations opening soon!When does Open Enrollment begin?
Anytime! Qliance accepts new patients at any time and membership begins on the first day of the month.Are family members eligible for Qliance membership?
Yes. Spouses, domestic partners, children, parents and other family members may be added to or removed from your billing account at any time. Each patient will receive his or her individual medical record.What about specialty care provided outside Qliance?
When your health care needs extend beyond the scope of primary care, Qliance clinicians will work with outside specialists, pharmacies and hospitals to coordinate your care. Though the Qliance monthly care fee does not cover outside care, your clinician will work to provide referrals to specialists who can bill your insurance or offer a cash discount. Prescriptions may be filled at any pharmacy and, depending on your insurance plan, may be billed to your insurance. Lab tests are processed outside of Qliance by our local partner lab. Upon request, Qliance will forward your insurance information to this lab that may bill your insurance.Does Qliance work with Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA)
Yes. Qliance membership is flexible and works well with HRAs. Many employers choose to fund employee Qliance membership through an HRA for convenience and for the associated tax advantages.How can Qliance do all this?
In May 2007, Washington State Governor Christine Gregoire signed into law Senate Bill 5958 which established the legitimacy of Direct Primary Care Medical Homes like Qliance in Washington State. In June 2009, Senate Bill 5436 was passed which allows employers to pay Qliance directly for the medical care of their employees.
